Reports suggest that singer Sarah Geronimo and her mother Divine Geronimo have reconciled their differences.
During an episode of ‘Showbiz Now Na,’ host Wendell Alvarez shared insights from a reliable source claiming that Sarah and Mommy Divine patched things up in January of this year.
According to Alvarez, it was Viva boss Vic Del Rosario who facilitated the reconciliation between the mother and daughter.
“Si ano daw, si Mommy Divine at saka si Sarah daw, nagkabati ng January. Parang nag-uusap lang daw sandali. Parang ganun,” Wendell said. “Parang ang nag-ano ‘ata si Boss Vic del Rosario.”
Cristy Fermin chimed in, noting Del Rosario’s role as a mediator in such situations. “Lagi naman si Boss Vic ang go-between eh. Kasi siyempre, nirerespeto ni Sarah at ni Mommy Divine ang Viva dahil talaga namang naging buhay nila si Boss Vic,” she added.
Previously, there were reports of efforts by Sarah and her husband, Matteo Guidicelli, to mend their relationship with Sarah’s parents.
The couple’s wedding in Taguig in February 2020 was marred by controversy when Mommy Divine allegedly caused a scene during the ceremony. Additionally, Matteo was accused by a bodyguard of punching him, an allegation he vehemently denied.
