Award-winning actress Nadine Lustre laughed off recent rumors surrounding celebrity breakups in showbiz, asserting that she is not part of the trend.
During the launch of her latest project, the suspense-action thriller series ‘Roadkillers’ on the VivaOne platform, Lustre spoke with the media, expressing her amusement at the ongoing rumors surrounding celebrity relationships.
“Okay na ako, guys,” Lustre quipped in a light-hearted tone, dismissing any notion of her involvement in the latest breakup buzz. “Hindi na ako kasali diyan. Okay na ako.”
Lustre’s love life has been described by many netizens as both happy and discreet, particularly in her relationship with her non-showbiz French boyfriend, Christophe Bariou, who has been notably supportive of her acting endeavors.
“Natatawa siya kapag pinapanood niya (ako) kasi kapag nakikita niya ako sa screen feeling niya ibang tao ako,” Lustre shared about Bariou’s perspective on her acting career. “But of course he’s proud of me kahit ‘yung ‘Deleter’, nung pinanuod niya sa sinehan parang hindi niya ma-imagine na ako ‘yun, iba daw kasi ako kapag nagwo-work feeling niya ibang tao ako, But he’s really very proud of the project kasi some of the shoots andon siya e’, nakita niya and nakikita niya talaga kung gaano ka hirap ang shoot namin.”
Despite the simplicity of their Valentine’s Day plans due to work commitments, Lustre revealed that she and Bariou intend to compensate with a vacation afterward, providing a well-deserved break from their hectic schedules.
“Simple lang kasi pagod kami pareho the day before so, simple lang,” Lustre disclosed. “But I have a vacation before I start grinding at the end of the month, kasi medyo marami akong gagawin this Feb eh so, magbabakasyon lang ako for a bit then sabak na ulit.”
Starting March 1, viewers worldwide can anticipate the release of the four-part series ‘Roadkillers,’ directed by Rae Red, exclusively on the VivaOne app.
