Kapamilya singer Morissette Amon has become the subject of a contentious issue after being linked to a blind item discussing a performer’s disappointing show at an event.
Netizens quickly drew comparisons between Morissette and other prominent artists like Jake Zyrus, Sarah Geronimo, and Regine Velasquez.
The controversy unfolded following a post by event director Vic Sevilla, shared by @iamexpositolao on X media, under the caption “Pulutan for today’s video.”8
In the post, Sevilla recounted his experience with ‘Phoenix’ performance at a corporate event.
Sevilla revealed that this singer, who was tasked with four songs for the finale, failed to deliver the expected performance, lacking her trademark belting style. He described her demeanor as lacking energy, disinterested, and distant, which fell short of audience expectations.
Despite receiving a substantial talent fee, her performance was deemed disappointing by the director, who went on to describe it as a waste of time and money.

Netizens speculated about Morissette’s identity based on Sevilla’s description of her vocal abilities, with some referring to her as “Moring” or “Amon.” Others hinted at diva-like behavior.
In response, Morissette’s loyal fans came to her defense, urging critics to provide evidence of any alleged attitude problems. However, Morissette or her management team has yet to issue an official statement addressing the controversy.
As of now, Vic Sevilla’s post has been removed from his social media account, leaving room for Morissette or her team to offer clarification on the matter.
