In a social media tribute, actress and TV host Kris Aquino mourned the loss of her former manager, Deo Endrinal, the head of Dreamscape Entertainment, who passed away at the age of 60 on February 3.
Aquino revealed in an Instagram post on Monday that their communication dwindled after her departure from ABS-CBN, expressing regret for not proactively reconnecting with Endrinal. She acknowledged that her “wrong choice” prevented them from providing mutual support during challenging times.
“For 16 years, not a day passed that we didn’t communicate. I’m now so sorry for my failure to be the one to reach out because it hurt me when I failed to hear from him personally during my time of grief and the time my health started deteriorating. My wrong choice prevented us from being each other’s support system when we should’ve been there for each other,” shared Aquino.
“I’m sharing this for others to see that pride in the end only leaves us with regret. Please know LA, I never ‘unloved’ you. And I am proud to declare—I’d never have become KRIS without the magical guidance of the creative genius that was DEO ENDRINAL,” she added.
Aquino credited Endrinal for instilling in her “the importance of honoring the job you’ve been given.” Reflecting on their professional journey, she recalled how, at the age of 28, he imposed a midnight curfew on her, emphasizing the significance of prioritizing work responsibilities.
Endrinal, according to Aquino, steadfastly believed in her even when doubts arose, noting her being the third choice to host ‘Game KNB.’ She highlighted his teachings on professionalism, respect, and sharing credit with the production team.

Renowned singers, including Martin Nievera, Erik Santos, Regine Velasquez, Ogie Alcasid, and Angeline Quinto, are set to perform each night until Friday in honor of the late Dreamscape Entertainment head.
