On February 6, actor Enrique Gil addressed whether he would follow Liza Soberano’s Hollywood career path.
At the advance screening event for Lisa Frankenstein, which LionhearTV attended, Gil maintained that he remains open to any job opportunity.
“I don’t know, I don’t know. I’m always open to anything. So–if the opportunity is there. Of course, of course.”
He then expressed how happy he felt knowing they both have movie premieres in the same month after four years of not doing films.
“I know that’s what I was saying. It’s so funny that for four years, we’ve been out of showbiz–and no projects, no movies, no teleseryes na lumalabas, and for both our movies to be coming out at the same month after four years. I’m just so happy that we’re back and we’re doing what we always love to do.”
When asked whether Soberano would attend the premiere night of his upcoming adventure-comedy movie, Gil stated, “He then revealed that Soberano told him that she would be coming back to the Philippines on February 13 and remarked that she would help with the premiere of his movie, I’m Not Big Bird.
Lisa Frankenstein stars Kathryn Newton, Cole Sprouse, Liza Soberano, and Carla Gugino.
Under the direction of Zelda Williams and written by Diablo Codi, the horror-comedy opens in Philippine cinemas this February 7.
