‘EAT…Bulaga’ reclaims noontime lead after a 5-day loss to ‘It’s Showtime’

After a five-day setback, the iconic noontime show ‘EAT…Bulaga’ has reclaimed its throne at the top of the noontime ratings, surpassing its rival ‘It’s Showtime.’

According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, the TVJ-hosted noontime program secured a rating of 4.3 percent on Monday, February 19, outperforming ‘It’s Showtime’s’ 3.5 percent. Meanwhile, the Kapuso noontime offering ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya’ trailed behind with a rating of 2.7 percent.

This victory marks the first time since February 12 that ‘EAT…Bulaga’ has clinched the noontime lead, achieving a rating of 4.6 percent compared to ‘It’s Showtime’s’ 3.7 percent.

Before this recent triumph, ‘EAT…Bulaga’ had endured five consecutive days of defeat against ‘It’s Showtime.’

On Tuesday, February 13, ‘It’s Showtime’ prevailed with a 4.1 percent rating, edging out ‘EAT…Bulaga’ at 4.0 percent. The winning streak continued on Wednesday, February 14, with ‘It’s Showtime’ securing a 4.5 percent rating against ‘EAT…Bulaga’s’ 3.9 percent.

Thursday, February 15, witnessed another victory for ‘It’s Showtime’ with a rating of 4.6 percent compared to ‘EAT…Bulaga’s’ 4.1 percent. Similarly, on Friday, February 16, ‘It’s Showtime’ maintained its lead with a 4.5 percent rating, surpassing ‘EAT…Bulaga’s’ 4.4 percent.

Saturday, February 17, marked a significant achievement for ‘It’s Showtime’ as it reached its highest rating post-ABS-CBN shutdown, scoring 5.7 percent, 1.4 percent higher than ‘EAT…Bulaga’s’ 4.3 percent.
