Dominic Roque has come to the defense of his former partner, actress Bea Alonzo, amid reports of their breakup.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Roque described Alonzo as “a beautiful person inside and out” and appealed for an end to negativity surrounding their relationship.
Roque wrote, “Bea’s a beautiful person inside n out…🤍 no hate/bashing/negative things please…🙏🏼”
The confirmation of the split came from talk show host Boy Abunda during his program ‘Fast Talk With Boy Abunda’ on Tuesday. Abunda acknowledged previous reports by entertainment personality Ogie Diaz, confirming that Roque and Alonzo had indeed ended their relationship.

However, Abunda also suggested that the couple was still in the process of resolving their issues, indicating attempts at reconciliation. He shared insights from reliable sources, revealing recent conversations between Roque and Alonzo aimed at better understanding each other but acknowledging challenges in their relationship.
Abunda confirmed the separation, stating that Roque and Alonzo had spoken again just the previous night or two nights prior. Their current status remained uncertain, with Alonzo reportedly returning her engagement ring.
Alonzo and Roque initially confirmed their relationship in April 2021, and the couple announced their engagement in July 2023.
