Showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin disclosed that she won’t be supporting Willie Revillame in the upcoming 2025 senatorial elections.
Fermin cited reservations about Revillame’s claim of willingly helping those in need.
Speaking from personal experience, Fermin contested the accuracy of Revillame’s statement and expressed apprehensions about his potential subservience to former President Rodrigo Duterte.
“Public servant ka. Ikaw ang dapat na gumawa ng paraan para magserbisyo-publiko ka. Nakakatakot lang ito,” Fermin commented during her show. “Kaya sa akin, kung tatakbo siyang senador, sa pipiliin ko, wala ang pangalan ni Willie Revillame,” she added.
Fermin also commented on Revillame’s physical appearance at a recent Davao rally, noting a significant weight gain. “Ang laki ng itinanda, oh! Tingnan mo itsura, oh. Ang laki-laki ng itinanda niya, ‘di ba?” she remarked.
Willie Revillame formally announced his senatorial bid during a rally in Davao last Sunday, expressing his readiness to serve the people, especially those in need.
