Entertainment writer and host Cristy Fermin has directed criticism towards actor Dominic Roque following recent developments in the ongoing controversy involving him and former fiancée Bea Alonzo.
In response to a prior article detailing Fermin’s official statement regarding her remarks about Mayor Bullet Jalosjos, she urged Dominic to provide evidence to support his claims made through his legal representatives.
Fermin clarified that her previous comments were merely speculative questions and did not directly implicate any individuals. She reiterated her assertion that she had evidence suggesting that the upscale condominium unit Dominic currently resides in is owned by Mayor Bullet.
The seasoned media personality chastised Dominic for releasing an official statement through his lawyers, labeling him as overly sensitive and implying a desire to suppress negative commentary.
Addressing Dominic directly, Fermin highlighted the scrutiny that comes with being a public figure in the entertainment industry, particularly amid controversies involving high-profile figures like Bea Alonzo.
She defended her previous remarks, emphasizing that they were not intended to malign Dominic but rather to raise questions and spark dialogue.
Fermin reiterated her support for Bea Alonzo in navigating the challenges she faces and emphasized her commitment to standing up against injustice, regardless of the parties involved.
Turning to the interviews featuring former Congressman Bong Suntay and Mayor Bullet Jalosjos, Fermin noted that their genders had been called into question, prompting Dominic to issue an apology to Mayor Bullet and his family for their unintended involvement in the controversy.
