Showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin has expressed her disapproval of a particular segment of the statement issued by Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo regarding the speculated breakup with Dominic Roque.
In her show ‘Cristy Ferminute’ on Monday, February 12, Cristy voiced her belief that Bea and Dominic should have been more cautious about discussing the state of their relationship.
“Kung bakit naman kasi pinatawing-tawing n’yo pa ang panahon. Tapos ngayon sisisihin n’yo na naman mga press people? Social media bashers na naman?” Cristy remarked during her show.
Though not feeling guilty, Cristy claimed to have an idea of whom Bea was referring to in her statement.
It is worth noting that even before Asia’s King of Talk Boy Abunda confirmed the split, showbiz insider Ogie Diaz had discussed it on his vlog.
“Ako, ang aking sakop, ‘yong politiko. Sa politiko, ipaglalaban ko ‘yan. Kakantahan ko ng ‘Ipaglalaban Ko’ ‘yan hanggang sa dulo ng mundo,” Cristy defended, laughing.

The showbiz columnist further elaborated, “But to blame the people who first talked about the breakup, it doesn’t seem in good taste. You should have addressed it first. You should have handled it so you wouldn’t have to blame anyone.”
Recall that in the statement released by Bea last Sunday, she mentioned that some had allegedly confirmed their breakup without their consent.
