Multi-hyphenate artist Janno Gibbs takes the spotlight at City of Dreams Manila’s CenterPlay, on February 29 at 9 pm. The singer, songwriter, actor, and comedian is the fifth OPM icon to be featured in the monthly one-night performances at the CenterPlay Concert Series.
With an entertainment career spanning more than three decades, the veteran music artist has been known for his soulful pop and R&B songs. Also acknowledged as the country’s “King of Soul”, Janno Gibbs is behind notable hit songs including “Fallin”, “Binibini”, “Pinakamagandang Lalaki”, “Ipagpatawad Mo”, and “Sana Dalawa Ang Puso Ko”, among many other phenomenal tunes.
Apart from being an icon the local music industry, the versatile Janno Gibbs also has starred in variety shows, game shows, sitcoms, television series, and films since the 1980’s.
“Janno Gibbs Live at CenterPlay” follows the series of sold-out concerts of other OPM stars, including Rey Valera, Ice Seguerra, “Soul Siren” Nina, and The CompanY. The anticipated concert also highlights the Soulmates band and other DJs who are set to perform alternately from 8:00 pm to 1:30 am.
At the CenterPlay Concert Series, guests can reserve a seat or a table with consumables starting at P2,500, comprising of bar nosh, burgers, fries, and beverages. VIP couch seats for a party of eight, and smaller seatings are also available. Designed for the ultimate entertainment experience, CenterPlay is a cool snack and cocktail lounge offering light meals, signature cocktail concoctions, beers, wines, and other beverages, and is built around the circular stage at the center of the main gaming floor.
