On February 1, Magic Men Australia member Ceazr Smith highlighted how their group helped the mental health of their audience.
At the media event for Magic Men Australia, which LionhearTV attended, Smith recalled how they would encounter stories of their audiences facing mental health issues but would find entertainment in their shows.
“We seem to heavily have tapped into a lot of people, you know, that have mental health issues and stuff like that. And [a lot] of these people come to the show, down-ish– out, and leave with a big smile [on their face.]”
He also detailed some of the group’s pre-show rituals, including ‘hyping up’ each other before going on stage.
“I do pushups before the show. I can’t speak for the rest of the boys, but [majority of the time,] behind the scenes, just making sure the show is running [smoothly] before it starts. Pushups is one of those things.Â
“We do a lot of bum taps before we go on stage and perform. It’s just a lot of hype amongst the boys. And you find this crew we got coming to the Philippines. We are [extremely] close, and you’ll notice that not just on the stage but off the stage. We are very, very loving to each other.”
