Quezon City’s 5th District councilor and actress Aiko Melendez recently took to her Facebook account to express amusement and surprise after an unnamed artist declined her offer for a vlog collaboration, citing a busy schedule.
Known for her venture into vlogging, where she interviews fellow artists to provide viewers with insights into their lives, Aiko compared the artist’s response to a well-known vlogger who graciously accepted her collaboration proposal.
In her Facebook post, Aiko shared, “Taray! Understandable naman kung busy siya kasi pareho naman kami busy and sumubok lang naman ako. Kasi kala ko friends kami since naka-work ko na siya dati. Ending barado tablado ako. Ok lang hihi. Baka naman busy talaga siya. Mas busy pa siya ke BIDEN (Joe Biden, Presidente ng Amerika).”
Despite the initial rejection, Aiko later discovered that the artist’s mother expressed interest in collaborating, leading to a positive encounter with both the vlogger and his supportive mother. Aiko expressed her gratitude for their warm hospitality and commended the vlogger and his mother for their success.
While Aiko did not disclose the identity or gender of the artist in question, speculations suggest it might be a male actor known for his dedication to fitness. Aiko maintained a positive and understanding attitude towards the situation, highlighting the contrasting humility of the vlogger who readily accepted her offer.
