The award-winning actress has been blessed with an uninterrupted streak of projects under ABS-CBN, since the pandemic.
Actress Rosanna Roces, values the trust ABS-CBN has been giving her for years. Since joining FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano in 2020, she landed more roles including Criselda in Pirapirasong Paraiso, which is set to conclude in a few weeks. She will be seen next, in a more important role, in the upcoming Piolo Pascual starrer and Dreamscape Entertainment production, Pamilya Sagrado.
Roces regards her work at ABS-CBN with utmost respect, that she did not speak ill of it during the election time, despite her political leaning that she admitted different from most of the people working for the network. During the finale press conference for Pirapirasong Paraiso last Thursday, January 18, Roces expressed contentment with the work she has been having with ABS-CBN and gratitude for the bosses.
“Kasi ako, loyal sa nagbibigay ng trabaho sa akkn, syempre. Kaya kita nyo noong eleksyon di ba, tahimik lang ako. Kasi ABS-CBN ang bumubuhay sa akin, ” she explained during a pocket interview with the press.
She went on by explaining her decision to keep mum during the election, admitting her political leaning was different from most of her co-workers in the network.
“Hindi man ako kakulay ng kulay nila, hindi na lang ako [umimik]. Bakit? Eh sila nagpapasuweldo sa akin”.
Asked if there’s a possibility of her being seen in the future, on a different channel, she once again put emphasis on her loyalty to ABS-CBN.
“May tinatawag kasi tayong loyalty. Sila ‘yung nag—especially RSB, sila ‘yung nagbukas sa akin after matagal akong hindi gumawa, ” she said, recalling her earlier days with the network.
Roces is set to grace primetime television again sometime this year, with the premiere of Pamilya Sagrado where she will work alongside fellow seasoned stars, Mylene Dizon, Aiko Melendez, John Arcilla, Tirso Cruz III, and many talented young stars.
