Kapuso Primetime King and Queen Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes left fans and onlookers teary-eyed during their cinema tour in Pampanga on December 29.
The tour was part of the promotional campaign for their Metro Manila Film Festival 2023 entry, ‘Rewind,’ directed by Mae Alviar-Cruz.
A video shared by Star Cinema on its official social media account captured the heartfelt moment as fans eagerly gathered at a shopping mall to express their admiration for the celebrity couple. The overwhelming reception prompted Marian and Dingdong to share emotional moments, with the couple embracing each other amidst the enthusiastic crowd.

From the lower levels of the building to the upper floors, fans filled the mall to capacity, creating an electrifying atmosphere. The couple, riding the escalator in front of the cinema, exchanged waves with their supporters. Dingdong greeted the crowd with a cheerful “Merry Christmas, SM Pampanga!” The fans responded with loud cheers and applause, creating an emotional and memorable experience.

In a press interview, Marian shared her excitement about collaborating with Star Cinema, expressing pride in achieving her dream of making a film with them. “Kahit nu’ng mga draft yung pinapanood namin, tapos pinapanood nila sa’kin. Sinasabi ko kay Dong, ‘Dad totoo ba to?’ kasi hindi nag sisink in sa’kin na ito na ba yun? Nakakaproud na nakagawa ako ng isang pangarap kong pelikula,” Marian said.
