GMA Network’s late-night primetime series, ‘Lovers/Liars,’ is gearing up for its grand finale this week, with its last episode scheduled for Thursday.
After an eight-week run, the drama has managed to secure positive ratings, as shared by lead actress Claudine Barretto.
The collaborative project between GMA Network and Regal Entertainment draws inspiration from the 90s hit movie ‘Bayarang Puso,’ directed by Jose Javier Reyes. The contemporary adaptation unfolds three narratives filled with intriguing secrets, challenging the love and loyalty of the characters involved.
For Claudine Barretto, the series serves as a significant TV comeback, marking her return to primetime after a seven-year hiatus. Michelle Vito, still under contract with ABS-CBN’s talent management arm Star Magic, also ventures into GMA Network with this debut project.
Crafted by Jose Javier Reyes and Noreen Capili, under the direction of Crisanto Aquino, ‘Lovers/Liars’ has been a staple in GMA Network’s late-night lineup, airing from Mondays to Thursdays at 9:35 p.m.
