Celebrating her 26th birthday on January 4, actress Liza Soberano opened up about her excitement and anticipation for the upcoming year.
In an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN News, Soberano shared that she embraced her birthday with a unique blend of family time and a solo journey, an annual tradition that holds deep significance for her.
“This year, I initially spent time with my family, but then I embarked on a solo journey, which has become an annual tradition for me. It’s a form of soul-searching,” explained Soberano.
Reflecting on her past year’s experience of a wellness retreat in the United States, she chose Japan as her solo destination this time, emphasizing the need for intentional reflection at the beginning of each year. Soberano expressed the importance of stepping back, recalibrating, and gaining a fresh perspective on her priorities, both in her career and personal life.
Looking forward, Soberano conveyed her desire to live more mindfully and be fully present, expressing a wish for the year ahead to bring more blessings and a genuine enjoyment of every moment. She acknowledged the common tendency to become consumed by work and neglect personal well-being, emphasizing her determination to immerse herself in the process and savor each experience.
The actress is gearing up for an exciting year, starting with the highly anticipated Hollywood debut in ‘Lisa Frankenstein,’ set to hit Philippine cinemas on February 7. Soberano also teased plans for travel, including participation in fashion events and exploring various acting opportunities throughout the year.
In addition to her acting pursuits, Soberano proudly announced the establishment of her own production studio, adding a new dimension to her multifaceted career. “I started my own production studio, and I currently have 7 projects in development, some of which I will be acting in, some I will be completely on the back-end producing for other artists.”
