Following its global triumph on the Amazon Prime streaming platform, the Kapamilya primetime thriller series ‘Linlang’ also achieved remarkable success during its Philippine TV premiere.
On its TV debut on Monday, January 22, ‘Linlang’ secured groundbreaking success across various media platforms.
As per the rating reports from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey, ‘Linlang’ garnered a rating of 9.0 percent, marking the highest pilot rating for a Kapamilya teleserye in Primetime Bida’s second spot.
The next day, Tuesday, January 23, ‘Linlang’ once again set a new all-time high TV rating for a Kapamilya primetime second-slot series, achieving 9.9 percent, surpassing the record set by ‘The Iron Heart’ on September 28, 2023, at 9.4 percent.

Beyond its record-breaking TV ratings, ‘Linlang’s’ TV premiere was also characterized by a surge in commercial loads on both A2Z and TV5 as well as Kapamilya Channel.
According to the DPRS Philippine Commercial Archives, ‘Linlang’ featured a total combined count of 44 commercials on A2Z and TV5 and 47 commercials on the Kapamilya Channel. On its second episode on Tuesday, January 22, the commercial load increased further, totaling 48 commercials on A2Z and TV5 and 52 on the Kapamilya Channel.
This upward trend continued on Thursday, January 25, reaching 53 commercials on A2Z and TV5 and 56 on the Kapamilya Channel.
Apart from its television success, the series also achieved a significant victory in the digital and online realms.
The pilot episode recorded a peak live concurrent views of 367,069 on Kapamilya Online Live, marking the highest live concurrent views for a Philippine teleserye pilot, surpassing the record set by ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ at 341 thousand.
With the record-setting live concurrent views came multiple trending topics on X (formerly Twitter) in both the Philippines and worldwide.
In an Instagram post, Dreamscape PH expressed immense gratitude to all Kapamilyas who supported the TV pilot, resulting in several trending topics for the series.
