The Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino-starrer officially made its television debut, after delivering a massive success on streaming platforms, last year.
Linlang The Teleserye Version is off to a great start. Last night, January 22, the series premiered on TV5, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, and other Kapamilya platforms, earning a very impressive 9.0 people rating, according to Nielsen Philippines.
The series now holds the record of the highest rating for a piloting Kapamilya show, on the second primetime slot (after FPJ’s Batang Quiapo), since the ABS-CBN franchise denial in May 2020. Previous record was held by the KathNiel series, 2 Good 2 Be True, and DonBelle series, Can’t Buy Me Love, which both debuted with an identical 8.0 people rating, on May 16, 2022 and October 16, 2023, respectively.
The new record coincides ABS-CBN Primetime Bida’s clean sweep in primetime drama competition, with FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, Can’t Buy Me Love (new timeslot), and Zoomers, also claiming victory on their respective timeslots, with people ratings logged at 14.0, 4.6, and 2.9, respectively.
Linlang The Teleserye Version promises to showcase never-before-seen scenes from the Prime Video cut. Watch it weeknights on Primetime Bida, Mondays to Fridays, after FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.
