Singapore-based artist, entrepreneur, and crypto advocate, Jaye Funk launches Manifest, the world’s first CryptoPunks NFT band. Manifest had its inaugural performance at the ULTRALUXE 2022 event at Ngee Ann City with their original single Maniac, and premiered the music video in late Oct ‘23 at Digital Art Week Asia in Ginza, Tokyo. They were the first CryptoPunks NFT band in the world to release an original track, and they want you to join them on their adventure, starting with Maniac.
‘Maniac’ is a catchy hyperpop number that represents the rollercoaster experience for everyone involved in the crypto space. It is the first release of Manifest’s cyber adventures, and the inaugural performance in 2022 featured holographic projections of the 2 CryptoPunk NFTs as frontmen supported by a live DJ.
With the launch of Maniac’s music video and NFTs, Jaye envisions Manifest’s performances as the gateway connecting the physical and digital Web3 space, for an authentic hybrid concert experience.
“I’m tryin’ my best Every moment makes me wanna scream So hard to admit I’m addicted to the dopamine”
Manifest’s novel concept of hybrid musical experience has resulted in further collaborations later in the year with different musical groups to explore the integration with the new age of Web3 content, including the announcement of new band members such as Lunasea and Korean rapper YunB.
Manifest is constantly evolving, bringing their dynamic performances to international stages such as Supalapa and creating a one-of-a-kind metaverse experience with Sandbox before releasing their new single in early 2024, an immersive project that literally allows fans to be a part of it.
Jaye firmly believes that his latest musical endeavour will raise the bar for Web3 entertainment. “Manifest is about bridging the gap between Web2 and Web3 via entertainment, breaking the boundaries of race or nationality through the universal language of music. I want to inspire others to find creative ways to utilise the IP of their NFTs.” ‘Maniac’ is out now, and available on all major streaming platforms.
