Kapamilya noontime program ‘It’s Showtime’ secured its latest victory in the ratings battle, outshining rivals ‘EAT..Bulaga’ and ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya.’
According to the most recent Nielsen NUTAM People survey, ‘It’s Showtime’ reclaimed the top spot in the noontime race, surpassing the previous frontrunner ‘EAT..Bulaga’ and Tape Inc.’s revamped noontime show ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya.’
On Saturday, January 13, ‘It’s Showtime’ achieved a rating of 4.2 percent, outperforming ‘EAT..Bulaga’s’ 4.1 percent and ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya’s’ 3.2 percent.
This marks the second time that the Kapamilya noontime show has taken the lead since December 16, when it attained its highest rating post-the ABS-CBN shutdown at 4.5 percent.
In addition to securing its second-highest rating to date (post-ABS-CBN shutdown) and regaining noontime leadership, ‘It’s Showtime’ also garnered one of its highest live concurrent views.
On the same Saturday, January 13, ‘It’s Showtime’ reached a combined peak live concurrent views of 218,947.

The recent surge in ‘It’s Showtime’s’ ratings can be attributed to the popularity of its trending segments, namely, ExPecially For You and Karaokids, which have become hits among viewers both online and on traditional TV.
