Last week marked the conclusion of GMA Network’s afternoon programs, ‘I Can See You (ICSY)’ re-run and ‘The Deadly Affair (TDA),’ prompting a closer look at their performance in the ratings arena.
According to the latest rating reports from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey, both ICSY and TDA concluded with respectable finale ratings.
On Friday, January 5, the finale episode of ICSY: Love on the Balcony achieved a rating of 5.9 percent, securing the 9th position on the overall ratings chart. This represented a notable increase of 0.8 percent from its rating on Thursday, January 4, which stood at 5.1 percent.
However, when compared to the finale episodes of its original run, the re-run finale ratings were considerably lower. The Season 1 finale scored 14.9 percent, and the Season 3 finale reached 10.0 percent.
Conversely, ‘The Deadly Affair’ demonstrated a slight improvement in its final episode, garnering a finale rating of 3.4 percent. While still relatively modest, this marked a noticeable uptick from its previous weeks’ ratings, which averaged between 2.2 and 2.9 percent.
On Monday, January 1, the series commenced with a rating of 2.8 percent, followed by 2.7 percent on Tuesday, January 2.
Maintaining its 2.7 percent rating on Wednesday, January 3, the afternoon drama experienced a slight increase of 0.2 percent, reaching 2.9 percent on Thursday, January 4.
