Kapuso sitcom ‘Jose and Maria’s Bonggang Villa (JAMBV)’ has returned for its second season; how did it perform in TV ratings?
According to the most recent Nielsen NUTAM People survey, JAMBV made a noteworthy comeback, achieving favorable ratings.
On Saturday, January 20, the sitcom, starring Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, secured a rating of 8.8 percent, claiming the 5th position on the overall ratings chart. In contrast, its competitor, Rated Korina, managed a rating of 4.0 percent.
Although the Season 2 premiere successfully entered the top 5 rankings, it fell short compared to the pilot ratings of its first season. During the Season 1 premiere on May 14, 2022, the sitcom garnered a rating of 13.5 percent, which is 4.8 percent higher than the Season 2 premiere.
Despite this, in addition to its commendable ratings, the sitcom has received positive reviews from netizens.
