GMA Network’s primetime shows were able to close the gap against counterpart Primetime Bida programs during the Christmas week.
According to the latest rating reports from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey, Kapuso Telebabad series scored close ratings against Kapamilya primetime teleseryes.
On Monday, December 25, ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo (FPJBQ)’ registered a rating of 10.4 percent, 1.1 percent higher than ‘Black Rider’s’ 9.3 percent. ‘Love Before Sunrise (LBS)’ also posted a slim margin against ‘Can’t Buy Me Love (CBML)’ 7.2 percent vs. 7.0 percent respectively. Crime-thriller ‘Senior High’ also marked a close gap against ‘Lovers/Liars’, 4.4 percent to 3.9 percent.
On the following day, Tuesday, December 26, FPJBQ scored 13.9 percent while Black Rider posted 10.9 percent ratings. LBS again posted close margin, registering 8.4 percent vs. CBML’s 7.7 percent. Same with ‘Senior High’ which again leads ‘Lovers/Liars’ by 0.2 percent at 4.9 percent vs. 4.7 percent.
During the midweek on Wednesday, December 27, the trend continued as FPJBQ obtained a rating of 12.7 percent against ‘Black Rider’s’ 12.5 percent. LBS somehow improved to 9.3 percent beating CBML’s 7.3 percent. ‘Senior High’ and ‘Lovers/Liars’ meanwhile sustained its 0.2 percent gap at 4.9 percent vs. 4.7 percent.
On Thursday, December 28, FPJBQ scored 13.8 percent closely followed by ‘Black Rider’s’ 12.5 percent. The same with LBS which obtained 8.9 percent, 0.3 percent higher than CBML’s 8.6 percent. And ‘Senior High’ leading ‘Lovers/Liars’ by 0.1 percent at 5.2 percent vs 5.1 percent.
And at the end of the christmas week on Friday, December 29, Black Rider maintained close gap against FPJBQ at 11.5 percent vs. 13.0 percent. LBS meanwhile which had its finale episode registered a rating of 9.7 percent against CBML’s 7.2 percent. And ‘Senior High’ scoring 4.1 percent vs. Amazing Earth’s 5.2 percent.
