Kapamilya action-drama teleserye ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo (FPJBQ)’ remains on a fluctuating rating trend, possibly due to its non-regular airing on A2Z.
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, the ratings of FPJBQ have been inconsistent due to its on-and-off broadcast on A2Z, often pre-empted by PBA broadcasts.
On Monday, January 8, FPJBQ secured the top spot on the overall ratings chart with a 15.0 percent rating. The following day, Tuesday, January 9, the Kapamilya series saw a slight improvement, reaching 15.5 percent. However, it slipped to the second spot, overtaken by 24 Oras, which scored 15.6 percent.
Midweek on Wednesday, January 10, FPJBQ experienced a slight decrease, dropping to 14.9 percent. Despite this, it regained the top spot on the overall rating board.
Thursday, January 11, witnessed a quick rebound for the Coco Martin-led teleserye, with a 0.5 percent increase, reaching 15.4 percent and maintaining its number 1 ranking.
Unfortunately, on Friday, January 12, FPJBQ faced a significant drop, decreasing by 2.5 percent to 12.9 percent ratings.
Given its non-daily airing on A2Z, primarily due to PBA Games broadcasts, the fluctuating rating trend for FPJBQ may be considered normal. It’s worth noting, however, that despite its regular airing only on TV5, the teleserye consistently holds a prominent position on the entertainment leaderboard and often dominates the overall ratings.
