Actor Enchong Dee expressed his excitement about the upcoming return of the popular reality show ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ (PBB) in 2024.
During a recent episode of ‘Magandang Buhay,’ Enchong shared his enthusiasm, particularly emphasizing the strong bond he shares with the dedicated staff working behind the scenes.
When asked by Melai Cantiveros about his eagerness to work with her again on PBB next year, Enchong wholeheartedly confirmed his excitement, highlighting the camaraderie with the production team.
“Oo naman [excited ako], siyempre lalo na ‘yung mga staff na kasama natin sa likod ng camera,” he remarked.
He also playfully addressed their dynamic as hosts, expressing his desire to continue their partnership on the show. “Basta partner, kung yayakapin pa rin nila ‘yung partnership natin. Kasi talaga namang hindi dumadaan ang isang episode na wala kaming palya ni partner,” he humorously stated.
Melai joined in the banter, joking about avoiding the responsibility of announcing evictions. Enchong added, “Alam mo umabot siya sa point na ganun na, ‘Buti na lang hindi tayo napapanoood ng boss kundi wala na tayo sa trabaho natin ngayon.'”
The return of ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ was officially announced during the ABS-CBN Christmas Special in December. ABS-CBN’s 2024 lineup also includes ‘The Voice: Teens,’ the teleserye adaptation of ‘Linlang,’ ‘The Bagman,’ and the Philippine versions of ‘What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim’ and ‘It’s Okay Not to Be Okay.’
The latest season of PBB, titled ‘Kumunity Season 10,’ aired from October 2021 to May 2022. The season featured three categories: celebrities, adults, and teens, with Anji Salvacion emerging as the winner.
In May, ABS-CBN Head of TV Production Laurenti Dyogi shared that part of the PBB house would be demolished for practical reasons. The decision was made due to an expiring lease and practical considerations, with the iconic main PBB house and control room being preserved for future editions.
