On January 5, Kapuso artist Elle Villanueva explained why she got emotional taping for ‘Makiling.’
At the media conference for ‘Makiling,’ which LionhearTV covered, Villanueva highlighted how she invested, both emotionally and physically, in her role in the Kapuso afternoon series.
“Ang dami ko po kasing ininvest din na emotions dito. Parang halos araw-araw nabubugbog ako–so physical. Alam mo ‘yung mag-eend na ‘yung show nandito na ‘yung mata ko, nandito na ‘yung ilong ko, so parang sobrang proud ako kasi ang ganda ng kinalabasan.”
She then remarked how she felt proud of taking on the project.
“So ‘yung feeling po na finally it’s here, na mashe-share sa inyo, and I didn’t expect it to be that beautiful. So I’m just proud of everyone and the team behind it.”
She also thanked GMA Network for trusting her with the lead role in the project.
“Of course po, so malaki po talaga ‘yung utang na loob ko sa kanila kasi pinagkatiwalaan po nila ako dito sa project na ‘to.”
She then talked about her preparation for the revenge-serye.
“Gustong-gusto ko na pinagdaanan ko ‘yung inapi at maghihiganti, dahil kung hindi ko po pinagdaanan ‘yung inaapi ako na ganon ka-intense, hindi ko rin matatapatan ‘yung emotion na gustong-gusto ko ngang gumanti.”
