The midday television competition in the Philippines remains fiercely contested between ‘EAT…Bulaga’ and ‘It’s Showtime,’ relegating the once-leading ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya’ to the bottom spot.
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey ratings, ‘EAT…Bulaga’ maintains its stronghold as the noontime leader, closely followed by ‘It’s Showtime,’ while ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya’ trails significantly in third place.
On Saturday, January 20, ‘EAT…Bulaga’ secured a rating of 4.4 percent, edging out the second-ranked ‘It’s Showtime’ by 0.5 percent, as it garnered a rating of 3.9 percent. ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya’ remained in third place with a rating of 2.4 percent.
Moving to Monday, January 22, ‘EAT…Bulaga’ experienced a slight dip with a rating of 3.8 percent. However, it maintained its lead over ‘It’s Showtime,’ which obtained 3.4 percent. ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya’ continued in third place with a rating of 2.8 percent.
By Tuesday, January 23, ‘EAT…Bulaga’ rebounded, achieving a rating of 4.2 percent, still ahead of ‘It’s Showtime’ in second place with 3.4 percent. ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya’ remained in the trailing position with a 3.0 percent rating.
The noontime rating race appears to be a head-to-head battle between the Kapamilya and Kapatid Networks, while the Kapuso noontime program seems to be playing a peripheral role in the competition.
