Carla Abellana has taken to Instagram to quash rumors about her potential network transfer, making it clear that she will continue to be associated with GMA Network throughout 2024.
The Kapuso actress, set to star in the upcoming series ‘Widow’s War,’ expressed her excitement about collaborating with Bea Alonzo, who recently made the move to GMA Network.
In an Instagram reel offering glimpses of ‘Widow’s War,’ Abellana not only confirmed her allegiance to GMA but also conveyed her enthusiasm for the upcoming project with Bea Alonzo.
Her caption read, “The cats are now out of the bag. Yes, cats with an S. 1. I’m still a KAPUSO. 2. I’m finally going to be working with THE Bea Alonzo. Lord, THANK YOU.”
In another post ushering in the New Year, the 37-year-old actress asserted her commitment to GMA by saying, “Happy New Year to me! I’m STILL a KAPUSO!”
Speculations regarding a potential transfer gained traction after Abellana expressed openness to joining ABS-CBN projects back in September. Despite her enthusiasm for possible opportunities, she clarified that no offers had been extended to her at that time.
Carla Abellana presently headlines GMA Network’s afternoon series, ‘Stolen Life.’
