Kapamilya’s primetime teleseryes dominated the ratings game once again, securing victories in their respective timeslots as the new year starts.
Based on the latest Nielsen NUTAM people survey, ABS-CBN’s teleseryes ‘Can’t Buy Me Love (CBML),’ ‘Senior High,’ and ‘Fractured’ outperformed their Kapuso counterparts on New Year’s Day.
On January 1, CBML emerged victorious against its newest rival, ‘Kapuso Primetime Cinema (KPC),’ claiming the top spot on the overall rating chart with a 7.9 percent rating, surpassing KPC’s 7.0 percent by 0.9 percent.
Following suit, the Kapamilya young-adult crime thriller ‘Senior High’ also celebrated a triumphant start to the new year. It garnered a rating of 4.6 percent, surpassing GMA Network’s ‘Lovers/Liars,’ which scored 3.5 percent by 1.1 percent.
Likewise, in its TV premiere, Senior High’s post-programming, iwantTFC’s original series ‘Fractured,’ secured a victory. ‘Fractured’ achieved a TV debut rating of 2.5 percent, outperforming ‘Saksi’s’ 1.7 percent by 0.8 percent.
Interestingly, the success of the Kapamilya primetime lineup was reinforced by its strong first slot, ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo (FPJBQ).’ On the same date, FPJBQ claimed the number one spot on the overall ratings chart with a 12.7 percent rating, surpassing rival ‘Black Rider’s’ 1.2 percent rating by 2.5 percent.
