Kapamilya romantic-drama series ‘Can’t Buy Me Love (CBML)’ reached a significant milestone by achieving its highest TV ratings and claiming its highest ranking to date on the overall ratings chart.
As per the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, CBML recorded its all-time high rating and clinched its best leaderboard ranking since its debut on October 16.
On Thursday, January 11, the DonBelle series reached an impressive rating of 9.4 percent, marking a new high since October 20, 2023, when it previously attained a 9.2 percent rating. Beyond setting a new high in ratings, CBML also claimed its highest ranking at number 4 on the overall ratings leaderboard, becoming the second Kapamilya program to break into the top 5, following the overall leader ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.’
Before achieving this record-breaking rating, the series also attained its second-highest rating on the preceding episode. On Wednesday, January 10, CBML scored 9.3 percent, securing the 5th position in the overall ratings chart.
On Tuesday, January 9, the series maintained its strong ratings at 8.0 percent, surpassing its rival program, Kapuso Primetime Cinema, by 0.8 percent (7.2 percent).
Starting the week on Monday, January 8, CBML garnered a rating of 9.0 percent, surpassing its Kapuso counterpart by a notable margin of 2.8 percent (6.2 percent).
The surge in CBML’s ratings can be attributed to the recent buzz created by the SnoRene tandem featuring Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings. The on-screen chemistry between Snoop and Irene has captivated fans and viewers, providing perfect comic relief to the series.
