The production of ‘Walang Matigas Na Pulis sa Matinik Na Misis Season 2,’ starring Bong Revilla and Beauty Gonzalez, boasts Hollywood-level production values.
The GMA Network has invested significantly in the return of the hit action-sitcom featuring Bong and Beauty, which previously achieved high ratings.
Even in the action sequences, including a car explosion, the show feels more like a movie.
Many even suggest that it is well-suited for a film adaptation this year, possibly for inclusion in the Metro Manila Film Festival 2024.
However, according to Sen. Bong, they are considering joining the MMFF this year, but he refrained from providing specific details, leaving the public to anticipate further announcements.
During the press conference for ‘Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis Season 2’ on January 26, the actor and public servant shared an incident that occurred during their filming before Christmas.
Sen. Bong almost suffered blindness when a bullet hit his face while shooting a scene with Beauty, who plays his wife on the show.
They were struggling over a gun in the scene, with Sen. Bong managing to take it from Beauty. However, the gun accidentally hit his face, causing a cut near his eye.
Supposed to be hindi na ako pulis so naagaw ko yung baril niya.
“That’s part of it. Na may mga aksidenteng hindi natin maiiwasan pero hangga’t maa-avoid, avoid din pero ganon pa man like Beauty, as I’ve said, okay na sa ‘kin ‘yun. Wala ‘yun. Aksidente ‘yun eh.
Beauty, on the other hand, felt embarrassed while her leading man was telling the story, “Gusto ko nang mawala, matunaw uy. Saan ako pupunta? Saan ako magtatago? Hindi ko alam.
“I’m so nervous that I don’t know what to do. But I was like, the whole time, nakatulala lang talaga ako. Hindi ko alam anong gagawin ko,” Beauty said, referring to Bong’s return to the set from the hospital.
“Magpa-Pasko pa naman. Ang dami nang tumatakbo sa isip ko. Sabi ko, shocked bulag siya, patay! Ginoo ko Lord,” Beauty said.
She thought Sen. As in pawis to the max.
Joke lang, pero binibiro ko lang siya pero talagang I’m happy that he’s okay and he got back. And enough of that,” Beauty said.
Beauty learned from the incident, “Accidents happen and ano lang talaga, you can be very careful but I don’t know, natutunan ko is have faith na everything will be okay. Ayun lang. Nag-pray lang talaga ako nung time na ‘yun na sana maging okay siya and then totoo pala ang Diyos na maging okay siya’t gwapo. ‘Yun lang, kinakabahan ako. It’s a very unforgettable experience for me because I really don’t want any accidents to happen to anyone in the set. Hindi ko makakalimutan sa buong buhay ko,” she said.
Sen. Bong and some members of the press also told us about the said scene, his eye was slightly traumatized, but he was really scared because it bled.
“Actually dumugo siya ng konti. Dumugo ng konti kaya medyo natakot ako. Akala ko… at least okay sya. God is so good. Ayun ang isang patunay na hindi tayo pinapabayaan ng Diyos kaya palakpakan natin si God,” the senator said.
