GMA Network action series ‘Black Rider’ has achieved another significant milestone by outperforming its rival ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo (FPJBQ)’ once again.
In the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey rating report, ‘Black Rider’ secured a victory against FPJBQ in the ratings game.
On Monday, January 29, the series led by Ruru Madrid achieved a rating of 13.1 percent, surpassing the 12.8 percent garnered by the Coco Martin-led FPJBQ.

It’s important to note that Black Rider’s rating includes the delayed telecast score on GTV.
This marks the second occasion that ‘Black Rider’ has surpassed FPJBQ. On Wednesday, January 24, the Kapuso action series secured its first win with a rating of 12.5 percent against FPJBQ’s 12.2 percent.
Despite this, FPJBQ made a comeback, reclaiming primetime leadership on Thursday, January 25, with a rating of 14.0 percent against Black Rider’s 12.2 percent, maintaining a margin of 1.8 percent. The trend continued on Friday, January 26, with FPJBQ securing a rating of 12.8 percent compared to Black Rider’s 12.3 percent.
The question now arises: Will ‘Black Rider’ maintain its winning streak, or was this just another fortunate day for the series?
