Kapuso primetime action-drama series ‘Black Rider’ continues to pose a threat to the standing of ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ (FPJBQ) in the ratings game, marking its smallest rating margin in the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey.
In the most recent ratings report, ‘Black Rider’ closely trailed FPJBQ by a mere 0.1 percent.
On Friday, January 5, ‘Black Rider’ achieved a rating of 13.6 percent, just 0.1 percent shy of FPJBQ’s 13.7 percent. This marks the second time ‘Black Rider’ has come close to surpassing FPJBQ, following the 0.2 percent rating gap recorded on December 27, where the series scored 12.5 percent against FPJBQ’s 12.7 percent.
Additionally, ‘Black Rider’ consistently posted narrow rating gaps against the Kapamilya action drama teleserye in earlier instances.
On Thursday, January 4, ‘Black Rider’ secured a rating of 13.5 percent, trailing FPJBQ by 0.4 percent. On Wednesday, January 3, the series garnered 12.8 percent ratings, again with a 0.4 percent gap compared to FPJBQ’s 13.2 percent.
The rating difference widened on Tuesday, January 2, with ‘Black Rider’ recording 12.1 percent, 1.6 percent lower than FPJBQ’s 13.7 percent. However, on New Year’s Day, January 1, ‘Black Rider’ scored 10.2 percent, trailing FPJBQ by 2.5 percent.
It’s noteworthy, though, that ‘Black Rider’s’ ratings include the delayed telecast score when it aired in a later timeslot on GTV. Excluding the delayed telecast score, FPJBQ maintains a substantial lead in the ratings race.
