On June 23, Viva artist Benz Sangalang recalled how his basketball journey relates to his role in ‘Hugot.’
At the media conference for ‘Hugot,’ Sangalang detailed his similarities with his character in the upcoming Vivamax film.
He then noted how he did not get into any varsity team that would have developed his love for basketball since he did not have the opportunity to pursue college.
However, Sangalang surmised that he would not have gotten into a varsity team when he was younger since he was a late bloomer in basketball.
Sabi ko ‘yung laro ko noon that time, hindi pa talaga pang pukpukan.
As for their upcoming film, ‘Hugot’ stars Sangalang, Azi Acosta, and Mark Anthony Fernandez.
The sexy film under the direction of Daniel Palacio also features Jiad Arroyo, Stephanie Raz, Apple Castro, Julio Diaz, Isadora, Joko Diaz, Nikko Delos Santos, Jordhen Suan, Raoin Sandoval, and Peter Georgo.
‘Hugot’ starts streaming on June 30 via Vivamax.
