On November 15, Kapamilya star Michelle Vito recounted how she landed her role in the GMA Network-Regal Entertainment project, ‘Lovers/Liars.’
During an exclusive interview at the ‘Lovers/Liars’ media event at the Luxent Hotel, which LionhearTV covered, Vito detailed how the head writer of the Kapuso series, Noreen Capili, offered her the role in GMA Afternoonserye.
And then napunta ako sa Regal and then ‘yung Regal kasi talagang nakaka-work ko na talaga sila ever since, I’ve had movies with them like ‘yung Pagpag, Debutants, and so on. So talagang naka-work ko na po talaga ‘yung Regal and si Ate Noreen.”
She admittedly felt nervous working for the first time with the Kapuso cast.
“But ‘yung GMA, actually nagulat ako kasi hindi ko alam ‘yung sinasabi sa akin ni Ate Noreen ‘to, hindi ko alam na ano pala din siya with GMA, so very, very happy, and kabado din, kabado din.”
Vito also cited the talks between Regal Entertainment and ABS-CBN regarding the project.
And kasamang mag-manage dito ‘yung ABS-CBN.”
Aside from her latest Kapuso project, Vito also reminisced about her early days in showbiz under the GMA Network.
“But of course, I’m very, very thankful kasi, actually, hindi ko po alam if alam ninyo po na before nag-start ako with GMA Network. Nag mga–Tween Hearts ako nag-guest ako, Nita Negrita.”
As for their series, ‘Lovers/Liars’ stars Claudine Barretto, Shaira Diaz, Yasser Marta, Rob Gomez, Kimson Tan, Michelle Vito, Sarah Edwards, Polo Ravales, Christian Vasquez, and Lianne Valentin.
