The Kapuso primetime romantic-drama series ‘Love Before Sunrise,’ continues to dominate the ratings race, consistently outperforming its rival, ‘Can’t Buy Me Love.’
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, LBS maintains its position as the leader in the timeslot, consistently surpassing its Kapamilya counterpart, CBML.
On Monday, December 4, LBS secured a rating of 9.2 percent, maintaining a lead of 1.7 percent over CBML, which garnered 7.5 percent.
The following day, Tuesday, December 5, the Dennis Trillo and Bea Alonzo starrer experienced a slight drop to 8.7 percent but still led CBML by 0.6 percent, with CBML obtaining an 8.1 percent rating.
Midweek on Wednesday, December 6, LBS swiftly recovered, climbing back to a 9.2 percent rating, surpassing CBML by a significant 2.3 percent, as CBML settled at 6.9 percent.
On Thursday, December 7, the Kapuso series posted a slight decrease to 8.3 percent but maintained its victory in the timeslot against CBML, which scored 7.4 percent.
Closing the week on Friday, December 8, LBS increased by 0.9 percent to reach 9.2 percent, while CBML finished the week with a 6.9 percent rating.
LBS’s winning streak continued into the following week as it registered a rating of 8.6 percent on Monday, December 11, 0.9 percent higher than CBML’s 7.7 percent.
It maintained its 8.6 percent rating on Tuesday, December 12, again outpacing CBML by 1 percent, as CBML obtained a 7.6 percent rating.
By Wednesday, December 13, LBS further improved to 8.8 percent, while CBML secured a rating of 7.8 percent.
