On December 15, comedienne Kakai Bautista shared her reaction to Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla’s split.
At the media event for ‘When I Met You in Tokyo,’ which LionhearTV covered, Bautista urged people to give the former couple space, noting that what they were going through would help their growth.
“Iwan na natin sa kanila ‘yun, for their growth as individuals din. Sa friendship nila, kasi nakita ninyo naman di ba? Friends pa rin sila. Grabe naman ‘yun, and mahal natin sila.”
She then described Bernardo as a ‘strong and classy woman’ with the way the Kapamilya star had been handling the breakup.
“Kung ano ‘yung nakikita ninyo sa kaniya, ‘yun na ‘yun. She’s a very strong girl, she’s a very classy woman. Iba, iba sobrang proud ako sa kaniya the way she handled it. ‘Yun lang ang sasabihin ko na ipag-pray natin sila.”
She urged others to remain respectful of what the former couple has been going through.
“Let’s just be alam mo ‘yun, be respectful, with whatever the decision, and continue to love them as individuals, and as KathNiel, kung mayroon mang chance na magsama sila sa mga racket, or mga ganap, suportahan natin sila kasi grabe, grabe naman ‘yung 11 years na pinagpaguran din ng mga bata.”
As for the cheating allegations, Bautista didn’t comment on the rumors, citing how she loves Bernardo and Padilla.
“Wala akong masasabi diyan, wala akong masasabi diyan, ang masasabi ko lang diyan ay, mahal ko si Daniel at mahal ko si Kathryn, let’s pray for them. Let’s all, lahat naman tayo nalungkot di ba? Kung tayo din naman, kapag nasasaktan tayo, ang gusto natin prayers di ba? Prayers din mula sa mga taong mahal natin, as a friend or as a friend, sobrang fan tayo.”
