On November 3, actress Iya Mina surmised that comedian Vice Ganda would be proud of her movie in the Metro Manila Film Festival 2023.
At the media conference for ‘Broken Hearts Trip,’ which LionhearTV covered, Mina remarked that Vice would celebrate her MMFF movie, given that they are both comedians, highlighting how the ‘It’s Showtime’ host would support her upcoming project.
Mina also talked about what it was like working with the award-winning actress Jaclyn Jose and MMFF 2021 Best Actor Christian Bables.
Mina won the Best Actress Award for her role in ‘Mamu, And A Mother Too’ at the Cinema One Originals Awards 2018.
She then discussed her views about the possibility of getting a Best Actress nod in the MMFF 2023 as a transwoman.
‘Broken Hearts Trip’ stars Andoy Ranay, Christian Bables, Petite, Iyah Mina, Teejay Marquez, Marvin Yap, Tart Carlos, and Jaclyn Jose.
Under the direction of Lemuel Lorca, ‘The Broken Hearts Trip’ opens in cinemas on December 25.Â
