On November 30, actress Heaven Peralejo discussed what it was like working with the actor/director and Asia’s Multimedia Star, Alden Richards.
During the media event at the Westin in Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong, which LionhearTV covered, Peralejo described Richards as a filmmaker who knows what he wants.
“Exciting, bukas may taping na ulit kami, Alden is I cannot, kasi he’s a first-time director pero–he knows what [he] wants. And he’s [really] like one of the best directors I’ve ever worked with.”
She also noted how collaborative Richards is with his actors.
“Hindi, hindi, pero he’ll give like suggestions, pero he’s going to make you collaborate with him.”
When asked about more details regarding the project, Peralejo replied, “I cannot say, hintayin na lang po natin.”
As for her career in 2023, she encapsulated her year as #blessed.
She then discussed her hopes for 2024, especially with the types of roles she wants to take on.
“2024 ko, kasi sobrang content ko na sa buhay ko ngayon na parang wala na akong gusto pang hilingin, siguro more on gusto ko na lang galingan sa mga ibibigay na projects sa akin. Of course, magve-veer away rin tayo sa mga rom com and more on the heavy side muna tayo for 2024. Pero we’re going to play it right naman.”
Peralejo stars in Richards’s upcoming movie with the working title ‘Out of Order.’
As for Peralejo, she viewed her endorsement of Ginebra San Miguel as their 2024 Calendar Girl as a dream come true.
Her prominent roles include ‘Nananahimik ang Gabi,’ which landed her the Philippines’ Best Actress award from the Asian Academy Creative Awards.
