On December 4, Kapuso Primetime couple Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera addressed whether their Metro Manila Film Festival film ‘Rewind’ could win awards.
At the media conference for ‘Rewind,’ which LionhearTV covered, Dantes considered it an honor to work with the brilliant and creative cast, the director, and his wife.
“Sa akin po, isang malaking karangalan lang na maisabuhay ‘tong script, lalong-lalo na na magawa ko ito together with very, very good actors, and such brilliant creative people under the helm of Direk Mae. Lalong-lalo na, kasama ko pa ‘yung asawa ko. Lahat na ‘yun, higit pa sa sapat. Kaya kung ano man po ang dumating, talagang nasa Panginoon na ‘yun kung ibibigay sa amin.”
Rivera acknowledged that getting into the roster of MMFF 2023 entries is already a feat their production achieved.
“Sa puntong nakasama kami sa MMFF sa dami ng nagpasa, the mere fact na nandito kami ngayon. Very thankful na kami doon. Siguro kung mayroon mang mangyayari, at maibibigay pa, plus-plus na lang ‘yun. Kung anong nabuo dito at kung ano ‘yung iooffer namin sa mga tao, very proud na kami doon.”

The cast features Lito Pimentel, Ariel Ureta, Ina Feleo, Pepe Herrera, Via Antonio, Joross Gamboa, Pamu Pamorada, Chamyto Aguedan, Joy Apostol, Niel Coleta, Jordan Lim, Sue Ramirez, and Cony Reyes.
Under the direction of Mae Cruz-Alviar and with the screenplay of Enrico Santos, the Star Cinema-APT Entertainment-Agos Todos Pictures collaboration film opens in cinemas on December 25.
