On November 18, Kapuso actor Dennis Trillo detailed how he realized to show his funny side in Tiktok.
At the media event for the Kapuso Mall Shows in Cebu for the Lapu-Lapu City Festival, which LionhearTV covered, Trillo said that his 20 years in showbiz made him realize that he may need to show a different side of himself to his fans.
Pero, sa Tiktok, ino-all out ko talaga. Feeling ko kailangan makakita sila ng something different lalo na’t 20 years na ako sa pelikula, and kung puro seryoso lang makikita nila, may point siguro na mabo-bored sila or magsasawa, so naisip ko, bakit hindi ko i-share ‘to.
While his management suggested launching his Tiktok page, he had apprehensions about using social media because he couldn’t follow dance trends.
That is when he realized he could show his comedic side in TikTok clips.
When asked how he keeps up with TikTok trends, he cited how comments from his audience would help him and motivate him to continue posting on social media.
