On November 3, actor Christian Bables maintained that he did not feel ‘heartbreak’ with his non-romantic-friendship with Jennica Garcia.
At the media conference for ‘Broken Hearts Trip,’ which LionhearTV covered, Bables remarked that he and Garcia set boundaries in their relationship as close friends.
“Hindi, hindi kasi klaro ‘yun sa amin. ‘Tol hanggang magkaibigan, hindi pwedeng sirain, hindi pwedeng lumagpas doon. ‘Yun hanggang doon.”
Bables and Garcia worked on the Kapamilya drama series ‘Dirty Linen.’
He then talked about the biggest lesson he learned from a heartbreak.
“The biggest lesson, I guess is ‘yung to love myself, to cater to what I feel, ‘yung bigyang pansin ‘yung sinisigaw ng utak ko subsconsciously, at ‘yung sinisigaw ng katawan ko, ng puso ko.
“Kagaya ng sinabi ko kanina, kapag ako’y nasa isang relasyon, dati, hindi na ngayon. Dati ibibigay ko ‘yung buong ako, as in ako. Pero, ngayon hindi na. Natutunan ko na kung papaano prumeno.”
Bables then narrated a heartwrenching breakup from his past relationship with a flight attendant.
“During that time, parang gusto kong maka-alis sa bahay. Tapos parang ‘yung taong ‘yung nagparamdam ng ‘totoong pagmamahal’ for me that time, na parang inalagaan niya ko, parang baby, parang sugar mommy, parang ganon, kasi wala ko nong trabaho, siya may trabaho, tawag nito, tapos nandoon ‘yung kapag naging artista ako, ibibigay ko sayo lahat. Ganyan-ganyan.
“Tapos umabot sa point na hinatid niya ko sa MRT, nag-taxi kaming dalawa, tapos may dala siyang paper bag na may Ferrero Rocher na ‘yung pa-heart na mayroon chocolate na may panyo, tapos sabi ko, ‘Oh, para saan ‘to?’ Tapos sabi niya, ‘Last na natin ‘tong pagkikita.’
“Inamin niya sa akin kung bakit, kasi mayroon siyang boyfriend, mayroon siyang boyfriend na hindi niya maiwan. Turns out ako pala ‘yung other man, boy, boy pa ako that time. Oo sakit noon, mula Mandaluyong, dapat bababa ako ng Bacoor, umabot ako ng Dasma sa kakaiyak sa bus.”
Bables is a nominee for the Pak na Pak na Comedian category in the 9th RAWR Awards!
