After weeks of trailing behind its rival, ‘Love Before Sunrise (LBS),’ DonBelle’s romantic-drama teleserye ‘Can’t Buy Me Love (CBML)’ has successfully reclaimed its leadership in the timeslot.
On Monday, December 18, CBML secured its first victory against LBS since November 14. According to the Nielsen NUTAM People survey, CBML achieved a rating of 8.5 percent, surpassing LBS by 0.6 percent, as LBS posted a rating of 7.9 percent.
Before this recent triumph, CBML had previously tied with LBS on Thursday, December 14, where both teleseryes garnered a rating of 7.8 percent.
Throughout the rest of the week, LBS dominated the ratings race, maintaining a lead over CBML with 8.6 percent versus 7.7 percent on Monday, December 11.
The trend continued with an 8.6 percent versus 7.6 percent match-up on Tuesday, December 12. On Wednesday, December 13, the Kapuso series maintained its 1.0 percent lead, scoring 7.8 percent against CBML’s 7.8 percent. LBS sustained its leadership on Friday, December 15, posting a rating of 8.1 percent versus CBML’s 6.2 percent.
With CBML’s recent resurgence, the question arises: will it continue to lead the timeslot, or will LBS quickly recover and regain its former position?
