On December 19, actress Alessandra de Rossi reacted to the number of cinemas assigned for their Metro Manila Film Festival 2023 movie, ‘Firefly.’
At the media conference for ‘Firefly,’ which LionhearTV covered, de Rossi highlighted how their film fits the holidays, especially with their child-centered themes.
She also discussed what made her accept the project, citing the quality of the story focusing on a mother and her child.
So thankfully, ‘yung pinakamagandang role ‘yung sa akin.”
As for their director, Zig Dulay, he remarked that he felt puzzled over the number of cinemas designated for their GMA Public Affairs movie.
He hoped that with the reaction from the moviegoers and through ‘word of mouth,’ their film would gain more traction.
‘Firefly,’ under GMA Public Affairs, stars Alessandra de Rossi, Euwann Mikaell, Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, Yayo Aguila, Max Collins, and Cherry Pie Picache with a special participation from Dingdong Dantes.
Under the direction of Zig Dulay, ‘Firefly’ opens in cinemas on December 25 during the MMFF 2023.
