On December 3, Asia’s Multimedia Star and Kapuso actor Alden Richards hinted at a possible Metro Manila Film Festival 2024 project with Coco Martin.
At the media conference for ‘Family of Two,’ which LionhearTV covered, Richards had always dreamed of working with the Kapamilya actor.
“Mas dream ko po siyang maka-work and I was able to talk to him about these things and nakakatuwa kasi since I’ve worked with Julia and I was able to meet him as well, kung mayroon daw akong kailangan tawag lang daw ako sa kaniya, kung advice man ‘yan, siyempre hindi naman doon sa financial, nakakahiya na.”
He also discussed what it was like getting close to Martin and his ‘Five Break Ups and A Romance’ co-star Julia Montes.
“Kidding aside, Coco is geniune person, and Julia as well, parehong-pareho sila, kaya siguro hindi na ‘yun bago sa mga taong nakakakilala sa kanila and blessed din ako na nakilala ko silang dalawa kasi ito ‘yung mga tropa for life.”
When asked whether they have a future MMFF project, Richards responded, “Bigyan ko po kayo ng teaser, parang MMFF next year po.”
As for his MMFF 2023 movie, ‘Family of Two’ stars Alden Richards and Sharon Cuneta with Miles Ocampo, Jackie Lou Blanco, Tonton Gutierrez, and Pepe Herrera.
Under the direction of Nuel Naval and the screenplay of Mel Del Rosario, ‘Family of Two’ opens in cinemas on December 25 during the MMFF 2023, with a premiere night on December 14.
