On Christmas Day, Kapamilya primetime teleseryes dominated the ratings competition by securing victories in all timeslots, outperforming their Kapuso counterparts.
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, ABS-CBN’s primetime bida shows emerged triumphant against their GMA Network rivals on Monday, December 25.
‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo (FPJBQ),’ as usual, took the lead among Kapamilya shows, achieving a rating of 10.4 percent compared to Black Rider’s 7.8 percent.
DonBelle’s romantic drama series ‘Can’t Buy Me Love (CBML)’ also clinched a win against Love Before Sunrise, with ratings of 7.0 percent and 6.2 percent, respectively.
ABS-CBN’s crime-thriller series ‘Senior High’ outpowered its rival ‘Lovers/Liars’ with a rating of 4.4 percent against the latter’s 3.9 percent.
In the final slot of the primetime block, ABS-CBN secured another victory with the Koreanovela ‘The World of the Married Couple,’ registering a rating of 3.0 percent against GMA Network’s Asian drama ‘Queen of Masks,’ which posted a rating of 1.8 percent.
Meanwhile, in the subsequent days of the Christmas week, the primetime bida shows maintained their dominance by securing victories in 3 out of the 4 primetime slots.
On Tuesday, December 26, FPJ’s Batang Quiapo (FPJBQ) led with a score of 13.9 percent against Black Rider’s 10.9 percent. Senior High surpassed Lovers/Liars with a rating of 4.9 percent compared to 4.7 percent, and The World of the Married Couple emerged victorious against Queen of Mask, securing a rating of 3.5 percent versus 2.3 percent.
Continuing on Wednesday, December 27, FPJBQ sustained its lead with a rating of 12.7 percent, slightly edging out Black Rider at 12.5 percent. Senior High maintained its winning streak with 4.9 percent against Lovers/Liars’ 4.7 percent, and The World of the Married Couple secured 3.0 percent versus Queen of Mask’s 2.5 percent.
On Thursday, December 28, FPJBQ once again claimed the lead with a rating of 13.8 percent against Black Rider’s 12.5 percent. Senior High continued its success with a rating of 5.2 percent compared to Lovers/Liars’ 5.1 percent, and The World of the Married Couple achieved 3.5 percent against Queen of Mask’s 2.0 percent.
