ABS-CBN Entertainment has hit 46 million subscribers on YouTube, just less than two months, after crossing the 45 million-mark in September. That makes the official channel still the no.1 most subscribed entertainment channel in the whole of Southeast Asia. The channel has also notably generated more than 51.3 billion lifetime views.
This growth is reflected in similar improvement in subscriber count of other official ABS-CBN accounts on the platform. Included in the country’s top 100 most subscribed channels, are ABS-CBN News with15.5 M subscribers and 10.9 billion lifetime views; ABS-CBN Star Music with 8.64 million followers and 4 billion lifetime views; Star Cinema with 8.23 million subscribers and 1.8 billion lifetime views; Pinoy Big Brother with 4.98 million followers and 2.86 total billion lifetime views; and iWantTFC with 3.92 million subscribers and 822 million total lifetime views.
The official ABS-CBN Entertainment channel on YouTube, , houses Kapamilya Online Live, which streams current and past Kapamilya shows, including the top rating action-drama and Coco Martin-starrer, FPJ’s Batang Quiapo. The series draws an average of 400,000 concurrent live viewers, nightly, and generate millions of accumulated views within hours, making it the most popular local TV series on the platform.
