Vice Ganda and Billy Crawford announced their reconciliation during a live episode of ‘It’s Showtime’ on Thursday, November 9.
The two former co-hosts had been in the midst of a years-long rift.
The surprising revelation took place during the ‘Magpasikat’ performance, where Vice Ganda, Jackie Gonzaga, and Cianne Dominguez showcased their talents.
Crawford, along with his wife Coleen Garcia and their son, emerged as the unexpected guests.
Following the production number, Vice Ganda and Crawford openly acknowledged their past conflicts, with Crawford publicly extending his apology to the comedy superstar.
Crawford shared that his ailing father had expressed a desire for reconciliation, adding a poignant layer to the moment. Vice Ganda explained how Coleen Garcia played a pivotal role in rekindling communication between them.
“Nahanap ko ang aking asawa at nabuo ang aking pamilya dahil dito sa programang ito. […]” In a heartfelt message, Billy Crawford expressed his remorse and gratitude, saying, “Mahal namin ang isa’t isa. Lahat ng pamilya nagkakaaway, nagkakalabuan, pero at the end of the day, in God’s time, siya na rin ang bahala mag-aayos. Kaya on my end, I want to say I’m sorry. I’m sorry, madlang people. I’m sorry, kapamilya. But, myself, nagpapakumbaba lang ako, na gagawin ko kasi ang lahat para sa aking pamilya, and kasama na rin po kayo doon, madlang people.”
Both Crawford and Garcia, who were once part of the ‘It’s Showtime’ family, returned to the show for its 14th-anniversary celebration.
