Filipino comedian and television host Vice Ganda was unable to participate in a segment of the live broadcast of ‘It’s Showtime’ on November 3 due to a bout of vertigo.
The Unkabogable star was present during the show’s opening segment, alongside the program’s co-hosts.
However, fans and viewers noticed Vice Ganda’s conspicuous absence during the ‘It’s Showdown’ segment of the show.
Vice Ganda made a return to the stage later in the program, specifically during the ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’ singing competition.
During this segment, they took a moment to address their earlier absence and explain the circumstances that led to it.
“Pasensya na, madlang people. Vinertigo ako. Vinertigo ako kaya kailangan kong humiga sa madilim na lugar dahil ako’y babagsak kanina,” Vice Ganda candidly revealed to the audience.
Despite experiencing a medical episode, the ever-resilient comedian maintained their trademark sense of humor. “Pinapauwi nila ako, pero sayang ho kasi ‘yung outfit ko. Sabi ko, ‘Hindi, sasalang ako!” Vice Ganda quipped. They then reassured the viewers that they were feeling much better.
‘It’s Showtime’ recently returned to the airwaves on October 28, and the hosts are currently busy with preparations for the show’s ‘Magpasikat’ competition. This competition is part of the festivities surrounding the celebration of the program’s 14th anniversary.
